I've always had a soft spot for, and been inspired by, the rhythms of Bossa Nova from Brazil. This track is inspired by and leans heavily on a few short samples from the beginning of "Garota de Ipanema" (circa 1963). I've included some field recordings of my own from a New Year's Fireworks in Iceland (2012) and beautiful bathroom door in Saigon, Vietmam (2011).
As usual, this was created entirely "in the box" c/o my trusty Synthstrom Deluge.
